Welcome to Balsam & Co. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the purchase of our premium biophilic furniture and the use of our services.
In these Terms & Conditions, "Balsam & Co.", "we", "us", or "our" refers to the business entity registered and operating in the Netherlands. "Client", "you", or "your" refers to the customer accessing our services or purchasing our products. These terms apply to all transactions, agreements, and visits to our Amsterdam showroom.
All prices listed on our pages or custom quotes are in Euros (€) and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify pricing or product availability at any time without prior notice. Standard shipping fees across the Netherlands will be calculated at checkout or outlined during quote generation.
Our furniture is crafted from solid natural pine and oak. Because wood is an organic material, slight variations in timber patterns, color shades, knots, and grain structure are normal characteristics and do not constitute product defects. Delivery timeframes are estimates. Custom orders handcrafted in our Amsterdam workshop may require between 4 to 8 weeks for fabrication.
In accordance with Dutch and European consumer protection laws, customers purchasing standard catalog products online have a 14-day return window starting from the day of delivery. This right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made, bespoke, or custom-configured pieces constructed to individual customer specifications.
All product designs, photography, text, layouts, brand logos, and original biophilic integration mechanisms are the exclusive intellectual property of Balsam & Co. Reproduction, distribution, or imitation of our design schemes without express written consent is strictly prohibited.
Balsam & Co. shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products. We do not assume responsibility for the maintenance, watering, or health of any plant species placed inside our furniture products by the customer.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any legal dispute, claim, or action arising out of or related to these terms shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Amsterdam, Netherlands (Court of Amsterdam).
